Social Concerns Ministry Mission Statement

 

The Social Concerns Ministry of Sacred Heart Cathedral is called to engage the parish community in works of social justice and charity, in accordance with the Gospel message and Catholic Social Teaching through awareness, education and action. The specific ministries of Social Concerns include the following:  In addition to these ministries available to the parish community, the Social Concerns Committee meets monthly to examine issues of Justice, Peace and Charity that affect our parish, our community, our nation and our world, and to consider how we can respond to them as a Catholic community of faith. Any parish member is welcome to attend.
